Can you run AirMech? PC requirements and settings
AirMech, by Carbon Games (Action, Indie, Strategy), came out on Steam on March 30, 2018.
Here are the official specs, and what they mean on the most common graphics cards.
Publisher's recommended cardGeForce GTX 1050 / Radeon RX 560 or better, 2 GB VRAM
Minimum cardDirectX 11 (feature level 11_0) with 1 GB VRAM: GeForce GTX 650, Radeon HD 7750, or Intel HD 620
Recommended RAM8 GB
Our conservative estimate60 fps at 1080p, high settings, with a GeForce GTX 1060
Estimate per graphics card
Which settings to aim for with your card
For each card: the highest settings level that stays smooth, and the expected frame-rate
range. This is a conservative estimate worked out from the publisher's recommended specs, not a
measurement: your processor, drivers and game updates move it.
Without DLSS, FSR or frame generation: turning them on raises the frame rate noticeably
when the game offers them.
Best settings
Best graphics settings for AirMech by graphics card
The setting ORION's “Recommended” profile would pick to play at 60 frames per second: the
best-looking detail level that stays smooth, with upscaling when it lets you go one step up (DLSS
on GeForce RTX, XeSS on Intel Arc, FSR on other cards). If AirMech doesn't offer it, use the
level from the previous table.
| Graphics card | 1080p | 1440p |
| GeForce RTX 5070 | Highover 300 fps | Highover 247 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4070 | Highover 300 fps | High216–297 fps |
| Radeon RX 7800 XT | Highover 300 fps | Highover 236 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4060 Ti | Highover 260 fps | High169–232 fps |
| GeForce RTX 3070 | Highover 260 fps | High169–232 fps |
| Intel Arc B580 | Highover 223 fps | High145–199 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4060 | High216–298 fps | High140–193 fps |
| Radeon RX 7600 | High210–289 fps | High136–188 fps |
| GeForce RTX 3060 | High185–254 fps | High120–165 fps |
| Radeon RX 6600 | High172–236 fps | High111–153 fps |
| GeForce GTX 1660 Super | High119–164 fps | High77–106 fps |
At these levels, ORION keeps textures on high from 8 GB of video memory (they cost memory,
hardly any frames), sets the frame cap on the target for steady pacing, turns off motion blur and
film grain, and leaves vertical sync off. This is a conservative estimate, not a measurement: in
ORION, the first measured session corrects the setting.

How are these estimates worked out?
The publisher's
recommended specs are the reference point (about 60 frames per second at 1080p on high
settings, unless the publisher says otherwise). Each card's power is compared with the
recommended card (the average when the publisher names several), then adjusted to the screen
resolution. A low margin is kept, and less video memory than recommended drops one level.
