Assassin's Creed Unity, by Ubisoft (Action, Adventure), came out on Steam on November 12, 2014.
Here are the official specs, and what they mean on the most common graphics cards.
Publisher's recommended cardNVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X (3 GB VRAM)
Minimum cardNVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (2 GB VRAM)
Recommended RAM8 GB
Our conservative estimate60 fps at 1080p, high settings, with a GeForce GTX 1060
Estimate per graphics card
Which settings to aim for with your card
For each card: the highest settings level that stays smooth, and the expected frame-rate
range. This is a conservative estimate worked out from the publisher's recommended specs, not a
measurement: your processor, drivers and game updates move it.
Without DLSS, FSR or frame generation: turning them on raises the frame rate noticeably
when the game offers them.
Best settings
Best graphics settings for Assassin's Creed Unity by graphics card
The setting ORION's “Recommended” profile would pick to play at 60 frames per second: the
best-looking detail level that stays smooth, with upscaling when it lets you go one step up (DLSS
on GeForce RTX, XeSS on Intel Arc, FSR on other cards). If Assassin's Creed Unity doesn't offer it, use the
level from the previous table.
| Graphics card | 1080p | 1440p |
| GeForce RTX 5070 | Highover 285 fps | High185–254 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4070 | Highover 249 fps | High162–223 fps |
| Radeon RX 7800 XT | Highover 272 fps | High176–243 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4060 Ti | High195–268 fps | High126–174 fps |
| GeForce RTX 3070 | High195–268 fps | High126–174 fps |
| Intel Arc B580 | High167–229 fps | High108–149 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4060 | High162–223 fps | High105–145 fps |

| Radeon RX 6600 | High129–177 fps | High83–115 fps |
| GeForce GTX 1660 Super | High89–123 fps | High58–79 fps |
At these levels, ORION keeps textures on high from 8 GB of video memory (they cost memory,
hardly any frames), sets the frame cap on the target for steady pacing, turns off motion blur and
film grain, and leaves vertical sync off. This is a conservative estimate, not a measurement: in
ORION, the first measured session corrects the setting.

recommended card (the average when the publisher names several), then adjusted to the screen
resolution. A low margin is kept, and less video memory than recommended drops one level.
