Can you run Battlefield 1? PC requirements and settings
Battlefield 1, by DICE (Action, Massively Multiplayer), came out on Steam on June 11, 2020.
Here are the official specs, and what they mean on the most common graphics cards.
Publisher's recommended cardGraphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Minimum cardGraphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Recommended RAM16 GB
Our conservative estimate60 fps at 1080p, high settings, with a GeForce GTX 1660 Super
Estimate per graphics card
Which settings to aim for with your card
For each card: the highest settings level that stays smooth, and the expected frame-rate
range. This is a conservative estimate worked out from the publisher's recommended specs, not a
measurement: your processor, drivers and game updates move it.
Without DLSS, FSR or frame generation: turning them on raises the frame rate noticeably
when the game offers them.
Best settings
Best graphics settings for Battlefield 1 by graphics card
The setting ORION's “Recommended” profile would pick to play at 60 frames per second: the
best-looking detail level that stays smooth, with upscaling when it lets you go one step up (DLSS
on GeForce RTX, XeSS on Intel Arc, FSR on other cards). If Battlefield 1 doesn't offer it, use the
level from the previous table.
| Graphics card | 1080p | 1440p |
| GeForce RTX 5070 | High214–294 fps | High139–191 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4070 | High187–257 fps | High121–167 fps |
| Radeon RX 7800 XT | High204–280 fps | High132–182 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4060 Ti | High146–201 fps | High95–130 fps |
| GeForce RTX 3070 | High146–201 fps | High95–130 fps |
| Intel Arc B580 | High125–172 fps | High81–112 fps |
| GeForce RTX 4060 | High121–167 fps | High79–108 fps |
| Radeon RX 7600 | High118–162 fps | High76–105 fps |
| GeForce RTX 3060 | High104–143 fps | High67–92 fps |
| Radeon RX 6600 | High96–133 fps | High62–86 fps |
| GeForce GTX 1660 Super | High67–92 fps | High + FSR Quality58–81 fps |
At these levels, ORION keeps textures on high from 8 GB of video memory (they cost memory,
hardly any frames), sets the frame cap on the target for steady pacing, turns off motion blur and
film grain, and leaves vertical sync off. This is a conservative estimate, not a measurement: in
ORION, the first measured session corrects the setting.

How are these estimates worked out?
The publisher's
recommended specs are the reference point (about 60 frames per second at 1080p on high
settings, unless the publisher says otherwise). Each card's power is compared with the
recommended card (the average when the publisher names several), then adjusted to the screen
resolution. A low margin is kept, and less video memory than recommended drops one level.
