For each card: the highest settings level that stays smooth, and the expected frame-rate range. This is a conservative estimate worked out from the publisher's recommended specs, not a measurement: your processor, drivers and game updates move it.

Best settings

Best graphics settings for Call of Duty by graphics card

The setting ORION's “Recommended” profile would pick to play at 60 frames per second: the best-looking detail level that stays smooth, with upscaling when it lets you go one step up (DLSS on GeForce RTX, XeSS on Intel Arc, FSR on other cards). If Call of Duty doesn't offer it, use the level from the previous table.

At these levels, ORION keeps textures on high from 8 GB of video memory (they cost memory, hardly any frames), sets the frame cap on the target for steady pacing, turns off motion blur and film grain, and leaves vertical sync off. This is a conservative estimate, not a measurement: in ORION, the first measured session corrects the setting.

Questions

Call of Duty at a glance

Which graphics card do I need for Call of Duty at 1080p?

The publisher recommends: AMD Radeon RX 6600XT, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or Intel Arc B580. By our conservative estimate, high settings hold 60 frames per second at 1080p with a GeForce RTX 5060, and a GeForce RTX 2060 gets there with lower settings.

What are the best graphics settings for Call of Duty on an RTX 4060?

For 60 frames per second at 1080p, ORION's “Recommended” profile would pick High + DLSS Quality settings: between 68 and 94 frames per second according to our conservative estimate.

Can I run Call of Duty on an RTX 3060?

By our estimate, a GeForce RTX 3060 runs Call of Duty at 1080p on medium settings, between 57 and 78 frames per second.

Can I run Call of Duty on an RTX 4060?

By our estimate, a GeForce RTX 4060 runs Call of Duty at 1080p on medium settings, between 66 and 91 frames per second.

How much RAM does Call of Duty need?

The publisher recommends 12 GB of RAM (minimum: 8 GB).

How are these estimates worked out?

The publisher's recommended specs are the reference point (about 60 frames per second at 1080p on high settings, unless the publisher says otherwise). Each card's power is compared with the recommended card (the average when the publisher names several), then adjusted to the screen resolution. A low margin is kept, and less video memory than recommended drops one level.
